Hushaby Art is proud to represent Award Winning Colorado Landscape Artist: Douglas Huscher’s work

 

Painting since the early ‘80s, Doug Huscher has developed his current style and techniques to achieve the unique look and texture that is present in his paintings.  Although Doug is mainly a self taught artist, he has attended many workshops and local art classes that have influenced his style.

 

 

 

Artist Statement:

“Living in Colorado provides one with the daily inspiration to view the wondrous colors of nature coupled with the variations of textures, shapes and moods created by the changing light on the Rocky Mountains landscape.  My desire is to capture these in each landscape I create, utilizing vivid color and texture.   Now that I am retired, I have the time to devote to this passion”.
